AMF seeks administrative penalty against Claude Cajolet

Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) recently filed a request with the Bureau de décision et de révision en valeurs mobilières (BDRVM) to impose an administrative penalty on Claude Cajolet.
Claude Cajolet, who was a member of the board of directors of Engenuity Technologies Inc. at the time the allegations took place, is accused of:
- insider trading in the securities of Engenuity Technologies Inc. while having privileged information relating to the securities of this reporting issuer, thereby violating section 187 de la Securities Act.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec’s financial sector.
