Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is analyzing the sequence of events surrounding unusual trading in the securities of Orbite Aluminae (TSX: ORT) when markets opened on February 14, 2013.

The events had an impact on the company's securities. The AMF is therefore carrying out an analysis of trading that took place on February 14, 2013. Within the framework of this analysis, the AMF is co-operating with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).

The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
