December 21, 2009. The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has reached settlements with National Bank Financial Inc. and Laurentian Bank Securities Inc. Those settlements are related to the investigations into the Canadian Asset-Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP) market and are the product of a close collaboration among the AMF, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) and the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).
