The AMF must be able to repay guaranteed deposits in a timely manner pursuant to section 34.1 of the Deposit Insurance ActThis link will open in a new window.
To speed up the process of determining the amount to be repaid to each depositor, the AMF has set up deposit insurance data requirements tables (in French only) for standardizing the data received and facilitating the repayment procedure.
On June 3, 2015, the Regulation respecting the application of the Deposit Insurance ActThis link will open in a new window was amended to include provisions setting out rules for registered institutions respecting the data and systems required for execution of the obligation to guarantee deposits.
Registered institutions must now be able to provide the AMF with required information indicated in the following tables:

Any change in the tables will be posted on the AMF's website and institutions will be notified in advance.
