Property Insurance – FAQ

My insurer has decided to cancel my insurance contract and has not given any reason for its decision. Does it have the right to do this?

An insurer may cancel an insurance contract, without any reason, by giving a prior notice to every insured named in the policy. The cancellation takes place fifteen days after notice is received by the insured at his last known address.

No.
