Warning - Identity fraud - AMF cautions consumers about A&L Royal Finance Inc.

Investor warnings - News

Montréal - The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is cautioning Québec investors about financial products and services offered by a firm purporting to operate in the financial sector and doing business as A&L Royal Finance Inc. This foreign company, whose existence could not be confirmed through the verifications conducted by the AMF cybersurveillance team, claims to have offices in Québec and in other provinces of Canada.

These verifications also revealed that A&L Royal Finance Inc. is illegally using the website content of Canadian financial market participants duly registered with the AMF, in particular the photographs and biographical information of officers or professionals. The AMF has contacted the individuals and companies concerned.

Neither A&L Royal Finance Inc. nor their alleged directors and representatives are registered with the AMF or hold a right to practise issued by the AMF. They do not rely on any exemption which would allow them to solicit Québec consumers of financial products and services.
