Norbourg Matter - Lacroix's motion regarding living expenses and professional fees dismissed

Decisions and Freeze and cease trade orders Securities

Montréal – Further to the objection put forward by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), the Bureau de décision et de révision en valeurs mobilières (“BDRVM”) has dismissed the motion filed by Vincent Lacroix to overturn the freeze order on funds for the payment of living expenses and legal fees.

In support of its decision, the BDRVM pointed out Mr. Lacroix’s lack of credibility during his testimony and evidence for significant cash flow between mutual funds and bank accounts under his control.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
