Montréal – The Bureau de décision et de révision en valeurs mobilières (BDRVM) decided on May 15, 2007 to lift the freeze orders issued against 177889 Canada inc. (formerly known as Services financiers Polygone inc.) for the purpose of enabling mortgage lender Primatlantis Capital S.E.C. to execute a Superior Court judgment.

At the request of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), the BDRVM issued on April 16, 2007 a freeze order on assets of Guy Charron, Huguette Gauthier, Gérald Turp, Turp DTD Consultants inc., Richard Lanthier and 3965121 Canada inc. Moreover, the BDRVM had ordered Guy Charron not to act as a securities adviser.

Moreover, at the request of the AMF, the BDRVM issued on February 27, 2007 a freeze order on assets of Gestion Guychar Canada inc., Guy Charron, Richard Lanthier, 3965121 Canada inc., 3330575 Canada inc. and 177889 Canada inc., as well as cease trade orders in this matter. It had also prohibited Richard Lanthier and Huguette Gauthier from acting as a securities adviser.

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec’s financial sector.
