Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has issued an interlocutory decision against Élise Pépin et associés inc. pursuant to section 115 of the Act respecting the distribution of financial products and services.
Under this decision, Ms. Pépin will resume her duties as officer responsible for the firm effective June 1, 2008, provided she satisfies the conditions imposed upon her. The AMF also appointed Josée Pothier as interim officer responsible for the firm until June 1, 2008.
On September 21, 2007, the AMF issued an initial interlocutory decision against this firm. The decision provided for the appointment of Ms. Pothier as officer responsible for the firm until such time as the firm could furnish the AMF with the name of an officer it intended to appoint to replace Élise Pépin, with the approval of the AMF.
