Insider Trading - AMF launches penal proceedings against three insiders

Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has launched penal proceedings in the Court of Québec (Criminal and Penal Division), district of Montréal, against Louis N. Bélanger, Migüel Caron and Louis Chouinard for failing to report, within 10 days of the event, changes in their control over the securities of a reporting issuer, namely, Lyrtech inc., in respect of which they are insiders.

Louis N. Bélanger faces 6 charges for a total fine in the amount of $12,000, plus costs, Migüel Caron 11 charges for a total fine in the amount of $22,000, plus costs, and Louis Chouinard one charge for a total fine in the amount of $2,000, plus costs, for violations in 2004 of section 97 of the Securities Act, with reference to section 174 of the Securities Regulation.

Insiders are required to report, within 10 days of the event, any change in their control over the securities of a reporting issuer via the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) at (www.sedi.ca This link will open in a new window), thereby giving all investors access to the information within a reasonable time period.
