Montréal - The publication of this press release constitutes the method of service authorized by the Bureau de décision et de révision (the "Bureau") of a notice of presentation related to the matter of Carrefour in respect of Mario Dumais, 9175-9704 Québec inc. and Richard Tremblay.

On July 7, 2016, the Autorité des marchés financiers ("AMF") will ask the Bureau to extend, for a further 120 days, the freeze orders initially issued on December 7, 2009 in the matter of Carrefour (pdf - 50 KB)This link will open in a new window against the respondents Gerald Parkin, Thinh Tuong Quan, also known as Jacky Quan ("Quan"), Bartolomeo Torino, Richard Tremblay, Mario Dumais ("Dumais") and 9175-9704 Québec inc., doing business under Investissement Max and Fonds de placement Nor-West. The AMF will also ask the Bureau to issue orders for corrective measures and for the partial lifting of the freeze orders concerning Quan, Dumais and 9175-9704 Québec inc.
The hearing will be held on July 7, 2016 starting at 2:00 p.m. in the Paul-Fortugno room located at 500 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, no. 16.40, in Montréal, Québec.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (the AMF) is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec's financial sector.
