Louise Charette has acquired almost 20 years of experience in the financial sector.
Ms. Charette holds a master's degree in business administration and a doctorate in mathematics. She also holds the designationAdministratrice de sociétés certifiée (ASC) as a certified corporate director.
Ms. Charette's career includes extensive experience in strategic and operational management as well as the administration of retirement plans, financial management and investments. From 1981 to 2007, she held various management positions at the Commission de la construction du Québec, including Assistant Director General, Administration and Finance, during eleven years.
Since 2008, Ms. Charette has worked for a number of organizations through engagements focusing on strategic planning and organizational development.
Ms. Charette was a founding member of the Regroupement des femmes cadres du Québec and served as Vice-Chair of the board of directors of the Société d'habitation du Québec. In addition, she sat on the board of directors of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec from 2005 to 2014, where she served in particular as a member of its Audit Committee, Governance and Ethics Committee and Risk Management Committee.
