Louise Charette has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector.
She holds a doctorate in mathematics and an MBA. She is also a certified corporate director (ASC).
Ms. Charette has extensive experience in strategic and operational management, pension plan administration, financial management and investments. From 1981 to 2007, she held various positions at the Commission de la construction du Québec, including assistant executive director of administration and finance for 11 years.
Since 2008, Ms. Charette has been involved with organizations in connection with strategic planning and organizational development mandates.
Ms. Charette was a founding member of the Regroupement des femmes cadres du Québec and the vice-president of the board of the Société d'habitation du Québec. In addition, she sat on the board of directors of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec from 2005 to 2014, where she served, in particular, as a member of its Audit Committee, Governance and Ethics Committee and Risk Management Committee.
