Below is the list of exams required to add a sector class.

A candidate wishing to add a sector class to his certificate must show that he has completed the minimum required training and will have to complete a 6-week probationary period, according to the chosen sector class.

The commercial-lines damage insurance exam (03-413), will not be required if both the relevant past exams (03-406 and 03-409) have been passed. These exams must still be valid when presenting the application.

Sector change to damage insurance

Candidates requesting a sector change must show that they comply with the minimum qualifications required by the sector.

All exams required for a sector or sector class have to be passed in order to change sectors.

Candidates will also have to complete a 12- or 6-week probationary period according to the chosen sector or sector class.
